The Holliston Foundation was established by the Holliston United Methodist Church conference in 1963. Gifts to The Holliston Foundation have created funds to support the local community, church, and individuals. In 1986 The Foundation was incorporated as a California Non-Profit Religious Corporation - A 501c3. This allows all contributions to The Foundation to be Tax deductible.

| - Aide to the aged and indigent |
| - Giving assistance for education |
| - Aiding the programs and activities of the United Methodist Church |
| - Support for renovations required for the Historic Holliston Church buildings |

In 2006 a grant for $550 was made to UMCOR to support a school in Congo.
In 2006 a grant for $500 was made to provide UMCOR Health Kits In 2005 granted $400 to Seminary Scholarships for pastors in Mexico In winter of 2004 The foundation donated $300 to the Cal-Pac Conference in the form of 6 - $50.00 Target gift cards. These gift cards will be distributed by the conference to those people striving to rebuild their lives after the 2003 Wild fires in Southern California. |
| Helping people overcome hardship |
IN 2004 - 2005 The Foundation donated $1000 to a Member in need. This grant was repaid to the Foundation.
In 2003 The foundation donated $1250.00 to assist a family in need get reliable transportation and get into permanent housing. |
| Nursing Scholarship | In spring of 2007 The foundation awarded $300 for a Nursing Scholarship that is given each year to a second year nursing student studying at Pasadena City College. This is the seventh year that The Foundation has been able to award this scholarship. |
| Supporting Christian Education |
In 2006 The Foundation gave a $300 grant to assist a pastor attend the International United Methodist Clergywomenan Consulation.
Since 1975 The Foundation has anually given a grant to the Ministerial Education Fund. |
| Holliston Building Restoration | In 2002 The foundation provided a loan to Hollison United Methodist Church to repair the roof over the church office. |

| The foundation was created for those who wish to leave a gift to be used for Christian work as the needs develop now in in the future. The foundation serves as trustee for funds to be used for "Above and Beyond" purposes. The money in The Holliston Foundation is not used for Church operating expenses |
| Gifts can be made to The Holliston Foundation at any time. Memorial Gifts can be designed to any of the Foundation funds. If no designation is made, gifts willl be added to the Education Fund. |
| Program Fund | The interest earned from this fund is transferred anually to the Holliston United Methodist Church to be used to support existing church programs |
| Building Fund | Interest from this fund is available for grants or loans to Holliston United Methodist Church Trustees to assist in renovation and repairs for the historic Holliston Church buildings. |
| Nursing Fund | A scholarship is awarded annually from this fund to a nursing student studying at Pasadena City College. |
| Ministerial Education Fund | Interest from this fund is sent annually to the Cal-Pac district conference to support continuing education for Ministers in the United Methodist Church |
| Mission Fund | This fund provides grants to local ministries as funds are available. Local ministries have included Union Station, Friends in Deed, and other local organizations. |
| Education Fund | Grants and loans are available from the fund for continuing Christian Education |
